A Time I Helped Someone

It was a sunny afternoon. As I was walking to the park, I noticed a little girl sitting on the sidewalk. She seemed upset and I approached her to ask what was wrong. She told me that she had lost her way and didn't know how to get home.

I could see that she was scared and alone, so I decided to help her. I asked her where she lived, and she told me the name of her street. I knew where that street was, so I offered to walk her home.

She was hesitant at first, but I reassured her that it would be okay and that I would make sure she got home safely. We started walking, and I asked her questions about herself to distract her from her worries.

As we walked, I noticed that she was starting to smile and laugh. She seemed to be feeling better, and that made me happy. When we finally reached her house, she thanked me and gave me a big hug.

I felt proud of myself for helping her, and I realized that helping others can make a big difference in someone's life. It doesn't have to be a big act of kindness, like saving someone's life or donating a lot of money. Even small acts of kindness, like helping someone find their way home, can make a big impact.
