Your friend has moved away to a new place. Write a letter to update him/her on what's been happening in your life.
Dear Jane,
I hope this letter finds you well and that you are settling into your new home. It has been a while since we have caught up, so I wanted to write and update you on what has been happening in my life.
I can't believe it is already our last year of high school. Time has flown by so fast, and it is strange to think that we will be graduating soon. Classes have been challenging, but I have been trying my best to stay on top of things. I am particularly enjoying my English and History classes this year, and I am hoping to pursue these subjects in college.
Outside of school, I have been keeping busy with a few extracurricular activities. I joined the school's debate team, and it has been a great way to improve my public speaking skills and meet new people. I have also been volunteering at a local animal shelter on the weekends, which has been incredibly rewarding.
On a personal note, I have been exploring new hobbies and interests lately. I recently started learning to play the guitar, and it has been a lot of fun. Playing the guitar has been a wonderful creative outlet for me. I love the feeling of strumming the strings and creating different sounds and melodies. It is a great stress-reliever, and I find myself turning to the guitar when I need to unwind or clear my head.
Overall, things are going well, and I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds. How about you? How's your new home? Have you made any new friends? I'd love to hear about what's been happening in your life.
Take care, and let's catch up soon!
Your friend,
Anson
